So as you all know, this is my private blog which almost no one knows about. Ironic, isn't it?
'Cause many people are asking me my Blogspot and Tumblr URLs so they can "follow" me. And every time, I turn them down. Then they ask, "What's the point of having blogs if you keep them private?" You see, I treat my blogs as diaries and photo journals. And what now is the point of having a private diary if you're showing it to the world?
I mean, I don't have anything against those who post their URLs on their profiles but people know what's right for themselves and since we are all different, it depends on each of us whether we want to broadcast it or not, right?
This is my own personal space and as I've said in my old blog, it's really hard for me to trust people. So the people who know about my blog are those who I trust the most. But that doesn't mean that I don't trust those who I turn down. Maybe I'm just not yet ready to open up to people.
One more thing, my blogs are everything that I am. So I show them to those who would like to know me better and would surely not judge me for anything that I post. Everyone has the right to judge, I still stand by that, but I'm young and weak and I still need to establish faith in myself so maybe, I have the right to hide my sentiments somewhere.
Another reason is that I think I'll be conscious of what I post, how I write it, and what others might think about it if I share my URL. I just don't trust myself enough. There.
So people shouldn't think that only because I didn't give them links to my blog, I don't want them in my life and I don't trust them. I just need to know who I am and sometimes, Tumblr and Blogspot can help an awful lot with that.
