Pursuits

I found this book while looking for gifts to give last Sunday. I don't really know what brought me to it, but I immediately fell in love with it the moment I saw it. The Nobel Prize Winner seal didn't have to do its work because the title was enough. Perhaps it's because of reading and being affected by Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke before, but I know that I was drawn to it mainly because I knew that one of my greatest dreams is to be a novelist, and I currently need inspiration to actually try to write. It's the Christmas break and it's probably the best time to read it and write, too. It's bound to change me, I know. Maybe that's why I posted it. Or maybe because I'm just so fascinated of taking photos.

Speaking of photography, here I have another photo:

It's an idea that sparked in my mind while in Church a while ago for simbang gabi. Yes, I have devoted to complete the nights, and I really hope I do, but I shall blog about that later. For now, let me elaborate on Project 100. It's a photography project as you might have guessed already, but it's fashioned after Project 365, something that photographers and creative people might find familiar. It's taking one photo a day to "document life".

Oh well, that's enough blogging for now. I wish I could blog more over the break. Of course, I will! And be thankful, my new love for photography guarantees a more creative (I hope) and colorful blog. The two posts so far have been making me so proud. Let's keep the spirit!

Happy Holidays!
